Wiz Integration

Integrate Wiz data into TargetBoard to track security metrics. Create a Service Account with read:resources permission, configure IP whitelisting, and provide API credentials to Customer Success.

Before You Begin

To integrate Wiz with TargetBoard, you will need to provide your Wiz API endpoint, Wiz authentication endpoint, and generate a secure Client ID and Client Secret. The following document will walk you through the process.

Required Parameters

  • Wiz API URL:
  • Wiz Authentication URL:
    • Depending on your identity provider (Wiz, Amazon Cognito, or Auth0).
      • Example: auth.app.wiz.io
      • (hostname only, no /auth/token suffix).

Creating a Wiz Service Account

  1. Navigate to Settings -> Access Management -> Service Accounts.
  2. Click Add Service Account.
  3. Enter a name (e.g., TargetBoard Integration).
  4. Select the following permission:
    1. read:resources
  5. Click Add Service Account.
  6. Copy the Client Secret and Client ID from the service account list.

IP Whitelisting

  • Ensure the public IP addresses for TargetBoard are added to the Source IP address configuration within the Wiz platform:
    • 67.205.145.107
    • 67.205.151.84
    • 69.55.59.137
  • If you restrict outbound traffic, ensure the following URLs are allowed:
    • Wiz API URL
    • Wiz Authentication URL

Send to TargetBoard

  • Wiz API URL.
  • Wiz Authentication URL.
  • Client ID.
  • Client Secret.
  • List of projects or resource types to sync - Optional.
