Integrate Salesforce data into TargetBoard to track your Sales, Success, Support or other metrics and gain visibility of the matching data.
Before You Begin
To integrate Salesforce with TargetBoard, you will need to authenticate via OAuth using a standard user account. Admin access is not required.
Note that if using a specific employee's Salesforce account for integration purposes, if the user account is ever suspended or deleted (as in the event of an employee leaving), then the integration will also fail. Consequently, TargetBoard recommends creating a dedicated user for integration.
Recommended - Create a Dedicated Integration User
- Email: integration@targetboard.ai
- Profile: Standard User or equivalent.
- Permission: Must have access to the data objects you'd like to sync (e.g., Leads, Opportunities, Accounts, Cases).
OAuth Integration
- Your TargetBoard contact will reach out to schedule a short meeting.
- During the call, you will be prompted to log in to your Salesforce account using OAuth.
- Once authorized, syncing will begin automatically
- Once the sync is complete and the relevant models have been enabled, you will be updated.
