Enable HiBob Metrics

Integrate HiBob data into TargetBoard to track your HR metrics and align other data sources with your organization's structure.

This document will guide you on how to create a Service User with appropriate permissions for the integration.

Create a New Service User

1. In the HiBob navigation menu, go to Settings -> Integrations -> Automation.
2. Select Service Users and click on New Service User.
3. Enter a Service User Name and Display Name. Click Save.
4. Make sure to write down the Service User ID and the Token. They will be needed for the second part.

Assign Permissions to the Service User

1. Go to Settings > Accounts > Permissions groups.
2. Select the following:
   1. Employees - https://app.hibob.com/v1/people/search
   2. Time off requests - https://app.hibob.com/v1/timeoff/requests/changes
   3. Time off actuals - https://app.hibob.com/v1/timeoff/whosoutWork-history- https://app.hibob.com/v1/bulk/people/work
   4. Employment history - https://app.hibob.com/v1/bulk/people/employment
   5. Lifecycle history - https://app.hibob.com/v1/bulk/people/lifecycle
   6. Named lists - https://app.hibob.com/v1/company/named-lists
3. Click Group actions -> Edit details.
4. Under Select people by condition, click Edit.
5. In the Add specific employees dropdown, select Service Users.
6. Choose the Service User created in the first part.
7. Click Apply and save changes.
   Optional - Create a New Permission Group

   1. If you prefer to isolate access, create a custom permission group for this Service User.
   2. Ensure that no restrictive conditions apply (e.g., remove default like Lifecycle status = Employed).
   3. Follow HiBob’s Custom Permissions Group guide to complete setup.

Send to TargetBoard

• Service User ID
• Service Token

TargetBoard will complete the setup and update you once your HR data is live in the platform.
