Enable Pull Request Metrics
Connecting your GitLab to TargetBoard enables access to all your PR metrics including Cycle Time, Time in Status, tracking of New, Open and Closed Pull Requests and many others.
To integrate GitLab with TargetBoard, you'll need to generate a Personal Access Token with the appropriate scope to allow read access to your organization's projects and API and have Admin permissions in your TargetBoard account.
- Login to GitLab.
- Click your avatar in the sidebar and select Edit Profile.
- In the left sidebar, click through Access Tokens > Add New Token and fill in the fields as follows:

TargetBoard - Token Description: (optional)
- Expiration Date: 365 days
- Token Name:
- Select
read_apias the required scope (this scope grants access to API, all groups and projects, container registry and package registry). - Click Create Personal Access Token
- Copy and store the token securely (it won't be shown again).
- Login to your TargetBoard account and click Settings towards the bottom of the left side menu.
- Click Manage source integrations and find GitLab in your integrations list. Click > on the right of the tab.
- If you do not see GitLab in your integrations list, reach out to your Customer Success Manager.
- Enter your token and click Connect.
