Enable PR Metrics
Connecting your Bitbucket instance to TargetBoard enables access to all your PR metrics including Cycle Time, Time in Status, tracking of New, Open and Closed Pull Requests and many others.
This document outlines the how to generate an API token with the required scope for TargetBoard to present your data. The token allows secure access to BitBuckets APIs and Git commands.
Before You Begin
- User with admin or similar permissions must be used to generate API tokens.
- Log in to BitBucket and click on the Settings icon in the upper-right corner.
- Navigate to Personal settings > Atlassian account settings > Security.
- Select Create and manage API tokens > Create API token with scopes and fill in as follows:
- Token name:
TargetBoard. - Expiry date: Recommended (this will be based on your org policy).
- App: BitBucket
- Scopes: refer to BitBucket;s API token permissions page to select the minimum necessary access.
- Review and click Create Token.
- Token name:
- Copy and store the token securely (you won't be able to access it again later).
- Send the following back to TargetBoard:
- API token
- Repository of workspace access required (optional).
