Integrate Claude Code data into TargetBoard to track AI adoption and impact metrics, unlocking insights into the team's productivity.

Before You Begin

The API key required for integrating Claude Code data with TargetBoard is the Get Claude Code Usage Report, which retrieves daily aggregated usage metrics for Claude Code users.

Prerequisites

  • Ensure you have the necessary permissions:
    • Billing enabled
    • Organization access
    • Admin or sufficient workspace permissions
      • If you do not see usage data in the Console under Billing → Usage, your account likely lacks these permissions.

Generating the API Key

  1. Go to https://console.anthropic.com
  2. Go to Settings → API Keys.
  3. Click Create Key.
  4. Give your key a descriptive name (e.g., "TargetBoard Claude Code").
  5. Key format: sk-ant-api03-xxxxxxxxxxxx

Send to TargetBoard

  • API key.

Once the integration has been successfully completed and validated, you will be updated.
